- Preparing patients for procedures.
- Performs arterial and venous ultrasound of the extremities.
- Utilizing a variety of ultrasonic and plethysmographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images and blood flow data.
- Holding and directing imaging devices to specific anatomical locations.
- Evaluating images for quality prior to doctors’ review.
- Taking measurements and analyzing results before submitting reports to doctors.
- Maintaining medical equipment and patient records.
- A degree from an accredited institution in vascular technology
- One year of applicable experience
- Additional requirements may be applicable by assignment
